The USA-China Initiative is a collaborative international business consortium designed to facilitate business opportunities available in the booming region of Shenyang, China. Investment energy and development in traditionally fast-growing areas of Beijing and Shanghai is shifting northwards, towards the Northeast of China, which is rich in natural resources. Shenyang has been well-positioned to benefit from the shift in energy and resources, and is now fully enjoying a boom in growth led by domestic and foreign companies.
Shenyang is the largest city in Northeast China with a population of 7.2 million people. This ancient city is over 2,000 years old and is a thriving cultural and industrial center in the Liaoning Province. Thirty-eight of China's fifty-eight recognized ethnic groups reside in Shenyang. The city covers 12,924 sq kilometers, including five city districts (Dadong, Heping, Huanggu, Shenhe, and Tiexi) and eight outer districts (Yuhong, Sujiatun, Dongling, Shenbei, Xinmin, Faku, Kangpin, and Liaozhong). It has been focused on heavy industry, particularly aerospace, machine tools, heavy equipment, and defense, and recently, on software, automotive, and electronics. Many of the major industrial companies have their headquarters located in Shenyang. Brilliance China Auto is a major Chinese automobile manufacturer. Most of its production plants are also located in Shenyang. Shenyang Aircraft Corporation produces airplanes for civilian uses as well as for military for the PLAAF. Neusoft Group is the biggest software company in China. And Shenyang Machine Tool Group is the largest machine tool manufacturer in China.

Shenyang, China, is becoming one of the fastest growing areas of China as businesses leave overdeveloped areas and look for more affordable areas of China to develop. City and industry leaders who oversee development in their areas have been given the green light and unprecedented levels of autonomy by the Central government to facilitate foreign investment. Companies from many countries have already moved in, however, city leaders have been looking for a partner company that can facilitate American involvement. Xin (Lucy) Liu brought members of the USA-China Initiative to Shenyang to fill the need.
USA-China Initiative, LLC is an international consulting company registered in Florida. With Xin (Lucy) Liu of the North American Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the company has the privilege and opportunity to introduce Americans to the governing body and industry leaders of the city of Shenyang, China and surrounding areas. The purpose is to facilitate American business joint ventures and investment in the region.
During trips to Shenyang, the USA-China Initiative team, with Xin Liu and Lance Yang, have signed agreements to develop a host of joint venture projects requested by the leaders they have met. Some of the projects include:

- Facilitate joint cooperation between a Chinese automobile manufacturing company and an American company to produce recreational vehicles (RV's) for the Chinese market.
- Facilitate joint cooperation between a Chinese waste management company and an American company to sort of garbage to reclaim recyclables and generate power from organic waste.
- Facilitate joint cooperation between a Chinese and American development company to build retirement communities on the coast.
- Expand international markets for a leading Chinese digital animation company.
- Expand international markets for a leading elevator and escalator company.
- Expand international markets for a leading dairy products company.
- Expand international markets for a leading software company.
- Shenyang leaders are seeking foreign commercial banks to establish branches in their city.
- There are many large real estate development projects seeking cooperative foreign investment.
- Creation of a Sister City relationship with another major American city. Detroit would make an ideal Sister City.
- The City of Shenyang is seeking educational and cultural exchanges with American cities.
The representative of USA-China Initiative and Xin Liu met with leaders of many companies, including manufacturers and a digital media company. There are many opportunities for our partners and investors.
